Qiyuan teachers and students were invited to visit the Ministry of Multiculturalism

      On the morning of January 29, a delegation from Qi Yuen International School, led by President Wang Yaosheng, was invited to visit the Department of multiculturalism in the Australian Capital District and was received by Mr. John Guen, head of multiculturalism for adolescents, and Ms. Nunu Johnson the head of the team.

     Mr. Gu En introduced the history of Australia's multicultural society to Kaiyuan teachers and students, explained the profound connotation of multiculturalism, and the core work content of youth multicultural affairs.

     On behalf of the school, President Wang Yaosheng and Teacher Qi Zhangjing gave a gift to the Ministry of Multiculturalism, and took a group photo.

     Subsequently, the Chairman of the Multicultural Forum, the Australian Medal (AM) winner, and the overseas Chinese consultant of the Overseas Chinese Federation, Sam Wong AM, met with Qiyuan teachers and students, and as the special guest to participate in China Radio International (Canberra FM) 219, Issue 2 The participants of the "English Broadcasting Journalist Research and Practice Class" awarded the Chinese and English "Certificate of Completion" and a short-term internship certificate.

Note: The Order of Australia is a system of honours created by Queen Elizabeth II, the "Knights", headed by the Governor of Australia, Peter Cosgrove; AM is a full member, Chinese people receive this honor Very rare;

    It is reported that during the training for several days, Qiyuan students learned the writing of English broadcasts and news broadcasts from local broadcasters. They were fortunate enough to enter the Canberra FM station to broadcast the sounds, overcoming the fear of the microphone and smooth. The recording of the program was completed and it was confirmed by the radio announcers.

Note: The Canberra FM station is the 21st full-frequency radio station opened by China Radio International overseas; in 2009, Wang Gengnian, the then director of China Radio International, personally went to Australia to start broadcasting;


   
       During this period, the University House, where the Kai Yuen students stayed on the campus of the National University of Australia, was a historic building inaugurated by Queen Elizabeth II's Prince Philip (His Royal Highness Prince Philip, The Duke of Edinburgh) on February 16 1954, in Australia. Australian Prime Minister Gough-Whitland (Gough Whitlam), who has established diplomatic ties with China, has worked and lived here during his administration.

 

     In this way, the students also fully experienced the atmosphere of the world famous school in the training, and the famous Australian history at the Australian National University Curtin Medical School, which was donated by Jackie Chan and was born with many Nobel Prize winners. The Manning Clark Center, named after Manning Clarke, and the Chifley Libaray, named after Ben Wifley, who was loved by the nation after World War II. Visiting and studying, secretly establishing a great ideal for studying and promoting the progress of civilization of all mankind.
